Scope of work/responsibilities:

We are seeking a Web Designer/Content Specialist to assist our client on a
contract basis. Our client is currently revamping their internet/intranet
site. Candidate will: 1) populate all sections of the web site with our
client's new template; 2) write page by page transition plan; 3) write test
plan; 4) maintain and update our client's company websites; 5) support
employees with uploading of new content to the web site; and 6) manage and
support client's workflow using Teamsite.

Required skills/qualifications:

To be considered, candidate must have 1+ years of web design / development.
experience: 1) HTML authoring experience and 2) experience with updates and
changes using CSS templates, workflow and content on Web sites. Search
Engine optimization experience an asset. Excellent communication and
teamwork skills. Self-motivated, detail-oriented quick learner. Proven
ability to meet tight deadlines, prioritize workload, and manage time
effectively. Desirable skills and experience: 1) Familiarity with FTP; 2)
Experience using Interwoven Teamsite or equivalent content management
system, particularly the workflow component; 3) Knowledge of CSS, HTML,
PERL, LDAP and mySQL is an asset; 4) Experience / knowledge working in UNIX
environment; and 5) Understanding of web site authentication & cookies.
