Mandatory

* 5+ years of DBA work experience on DB2 Z/OS and Microsoft SQL Server
platforms;
* Experience with DB2 V8 and SQL Server 2000 or 2005 required;
* Demonstrated ability to code and tune SQL language for optimal
efficiencies;
* Experience with data replication;
* Demonstrated ability to transform business data models into
implementable, tunable, supportable physical structures that satisfy
business requirements;
* Strong communication skills (written and verbal);
* Strong inter-personal skills;
* Works well within a diverse team environment. Demonstrated ability
to establish and maintain credibility and cooperative
relationships with clients and co-workers;
* Takes initiative to identify opportunities for improvement;
* Strong problem solving skills and critical thinking skills;
* Strong ability to organize and work quickly;

Responsibilities

* Work within a team to lead the design and implementation of database
structures and components;
* Assist development teams from table design through SQL language
tuning, database replication and support database environments in test
and production.
