Scope of work/responsibilities:

The recruitment industry is highly competitive requiring quick results,
adaptability and a continuous desire to learn. We are seeking a Recruitment
Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate is a self-starter
who naturally enjoys interacting with people and is a proven relationship
builder. Your key mandate will be to source and identify exceptional people
for our clients on a contract and permanent basis. In this role you will:

- Analyze and interpret our client's resource requirements and develop
effective job descriptions and candidate profiles.
- Develop marketing/advertising strategies and utilize creative search
methods to source both active and passive jobs seekers.
- Attract, screen, short list applicants and manage the process to "hire".
- Build relationships with job seekers based on integrity and mutual
respect, creating a positive impact with each point of contact.
- Negotiate employment offers and provide contract management services.
- Provide post-placement follow up and maintain regular contact with
candidates to ensure all parties involved are working effectively and that
expectations and deliverables are being met.
- Manage, maintain, and expand our candidate pool database and help identify
new business opportunities.
- Assist in developing branding / marketing opportunities for our firm and
other HR related activities.

Key attributes: An intuitive, "people" person who is resourceful,
disciplined and a definite team player. Mandatory requirements: a Bachelor
Degree, positive attitude and a desire to learn and excel as a professional
recruiter. Individual will be proficient with the MS Office Suite of
products and type 40+ wpm. Any exposure to CRM software would be an asset.
